I love paper.
Collecting different colors and patterns of paper is something I adore!
Stripes, polka dots, worded designs, and whimsical patterns inspire me.
I love ribbon.
I use ribbon for just about any purpose I can think of.
It adds a touch of fun or elegance to any creation.
I love quotes.
I have been collecting quotes since I was twelve! Growing up, they were plastered all over the walls in my room. There is a saying for every purpose, every event, every occasion. I love the way a verse or quote can succinctly say something really profound.

Since I love all three of these things, I was so excited when I found a way to use all three in the creation of a unique product. For the past several years, I have made these frames as gifts for friends and family. Just last year, some dear friends of mine were interested in purchasing one, which led to a whirlwind I was not quite prepared for. Picket Fence Frames was born a few months later in February 2007. What a blessing this has been! I am able to do something I love, and work in my homeworkshop while my boys play and my husband drills, sands, and cuts! Our hope is that the frame you choose captures a special person or memory in a way that makes you smile each time you look at it. Thank you for your interest in our products. |
About Our Product
the frame
The large frame measures 12 inches wide, 12 inches high and is 3/4 inch thick. The opening is approximately 4 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches. The small frame measures 8 inches wide, 8 inches high and is 1 1/2 inches thick. The opening is approximately 3 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. Both are made of solid wood. Each frames includes a hand cut piece of glass in the center opening. The frames both come with a wooden peg which allow them to sit at a gentle angle on any flat surface.
Even the back of your frame can be customized! Specify a name, a special date, or a short message for the back of your frame at the time of ordering!

Each frame is painted by hand using the finest acrylic paints from PLAID.

Our papers come from the leading companies in the scrapbook industry.
The paper determines everything else: the paint, ribbon and quote.
the ribbon
The ribbon is the perfect compliment to the frame and adds the final touch that makes it unique.
